The Academy of Management Learning & Education (AMLE) advances the knowledge and practice of management learning and education. It does so by publishing theoretical models and reviews, qualitative and quantitative research, critique, exchanges, and retrospectives on any substantive topic that is conceived with, and draws implications for, how managers learn and the educational process and context. AMLE is an interdisciplinary journal that broadly defines its constituents to include scholars, educators, program directors, deans, and other administrators at academic institutions, as well as consultants, policy makers and practitioners in private or public organizations in which management learning and education are of central concern. |
AMLE's Impact Factor is 2.796, ranking it 7th among all Management journals--just .116 behind 5th place ASQ and .033 behind 6th place SMJ--and 2nd among all Education journals. AMLE has a New Editor We are pleased to announce that J. B. (Ben) Arbaugh has been selected by the Academy of Management's Board of Governors as the new Editor of AMLE. Ben is a current Associate Editor and his term will begin on July 1, 2008. The current team will stay on until December 31, 2008 to manage submissions already in process.
